This is a picture of a wedding Jean McIlwraith Tebay, second from left, and her husband, Jim, left, attended Aug. 7 in Halle/Saale (near Berlin), Germany.  Jean wrote: "The bride is a young woman whose father was a colleague of mine in international work on therapeutic riding issues.  He is an orthopedic surgeon.  The wedding took place at a 600-year-old castle, Schloss Schkopau.  We sponsored Britta, and acted as her American parents in this country for college, and graduate school (where she met her future husband)." Others in the photo are Britta Riede and her new (from Texas) husband Mike Harrison, and Britta's mom and dad, Hella and Detlev Riede.
